- Top universities around the world offer free online courses, as well as Open CourseWare, providing distance learning for the general public and undergraduates.
- Although the SNU College of Engineering offered online courses which only consisted of recorded lectures during the actual class, copyright infringement issues impede the production of the educational materials for online courses.

A professor suggests new content to add to or replace for online courses and consults with a video producer. When the content is confirmed, the professor or T/A in charge of course development can add it to the existing video or request that the video producer inserts it to create new content.

Developing a New Online Course
- Professor: Developing a teaching plan, providing course material, suggesting image/video content, shooting/reviewing videos, selecting a teaching assistant (TA) for the project, reviewing copyright issues, etc.
- Teaching Assistant (TA): Assisting in recording new online courses, editing videos, etc.
For the Existing Online Courses and Updating Online Courses
- Professor: Suggesting image/video content to add to or replace for the existing online courses, consulting with a video producer for the new contents, reviewing updates, recording and reviewing updated versions, selecting a TA for the project, reviewing copyright issues, etc.
- Teaching Assistant (TA): Assisting in recording new online courses, editing videos, etc.
