Opportunities for global experiences to
enhance students’global capabilities are
provided by forming a mutual education network through
the various global engineering network systems.
By composing a global team with students from different knowledge, language,
national backgrounds, cultures and schools, there will be an increase in cultural, language,
business understandings, and by giving a common goal and a sense of achievement,
social issues will be solved through international cooperation.
The process will help cultivate the students’ qualities to become global engineers.
Integrated Mechanical Design and Interpretation - Capstone Design
-
The [Integrated Mechanical Design and Interpretation] course is offered in the fall semester each year, which is one that includes a joint video lecture format of three universities: Seoul National University, USA’s Pennsylvania State University and Chonnam National University.
-
This course provides design assignments developed by industry to challenge the student’s engineering knowledge and their ability to perform according to plan. For collaboration designs, international project teams will be formed and students will study the entire process of engineering design, including schedule management, concept design, detailed design, prototype production, overseas demonstration and report writing skills.
Nepal Project
- A volunteer program to provide engineering students with 10 weeks of prior education and training period for students to personally install solar energy development equipment in energy-insufficient areas, to foster aptitude in engineering and promote green energy.
